Velocity:
แปลว่า(english) A vector quantity equal to the rate that position changes with time.
Elementary reaction
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A reaction in which the rate expression corresponds to the stoichiometric equation.
discharge(1)
Shock load
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) Influent wastewater entering the plant which has an unusually high organic content and/or high flow rate.
S
Reversible reaction
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A reaction in which the reactant(s) proceed to product(s), but the products react at an appreciable rate to reform reactant(s).
Irreversible reaction
Gravity:
แปลว่า(english) An attractive force between two objects; each object accelerates at a rate equal to the attractive force divided by the object's mass. Objects near the surface of the earth tend to accelerate toward the earth's center at a rate of ; this value is often called the gravitational constant and denoted as g.
Trophic level
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A level in the food chain. The first trophic level consists of the primary producers, autotrophs. The second trophic level is vegetarians which consume autotrophic organisms.
Corrosive waste
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A waste that is outside the pH range of 2 to 12.5 or a waste that corrodes steel at a rate greater than 6.35 mm (0.25 in) per year. One of EPA's four hazardous waste properties.
Secondary treatment
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) In wastewater treatment, the conversion of the suspended, colloidal and dissolved organics remaining after primary treatment into a microbial mass with is then removed in a second sedimentation process. Secondary treatment included both the biological process and the associated sedimentation process.
Impermeable
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The ability of a material or product to reduce or eliminate gaseous transmissions through it's mass; measured as the rate of Water Vapor Transmission (WVT). Note: Not all materials that are waterproof are vaporproof; all materials that are vaporproof are inherently waterproof.
