Temperature Rise
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The increase of concrete temperature caused by heat of hydration and heat from other sources.
Burnishing
แปลว่า(english) Developing a smooth finish on a metal by tumbling or rubbing with a polished hand tool.
Blast Furnace Gas
แปลว่า(english) By-product gas created by the iron making process which is used as fuel for the boilers.
Shear modulus:
แปลว่า(english) The ratio of shear stress divided by the corresponding shear strain in a linear elastic material.
Rock Pocket
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) Area or portion of hardened concrete which is deficient in mortar and consisting primarily of coarse aggregate and open voids; caused by insufficient consolidation or separation during placement, or both; by leakage from form.
Brinell Hardness Test
แปลว่า(english) A common standard method of measuring the hardness of materials. The smooth surface of the metal is subjected to indentation by a hardened steel ball under pressure. The diameter of the indentation, in the material surface, is then measured by a microscope and the hardness value is read from a chart or determined by a prescribed formula.
quarto
แปลว่า(การพิมพ์) แปดหน้ายก กระดาษขนาด 18. by 24. ซึ่งพับลงเป็นสองทบทำเป็น 4 ใบ เท่ากับ 8 หน้า
Broaching 2
แปลว่า(english) Multiple shaving, accomplished by pushing a tool with stepped cutting edges along the piece, particularly through holes.
Saltwater intrusion
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) The gradual replacement of freshwater by saltwater in coastal areas where excessive pumping of groundwater occurs.
Burning
แปลว่า(english) (1) Permanently damaging a metal or alloy by heating to cause either incipient melting or intergranular oxidation. (2) In grinding getting the work hot enough to cause discoloration or to change the microstructure by tempering or hardening.
Brinell Hardness
แปลว่า(english) The hardness of a metal or part, as represented by the number obtained from the ratio between the load applied on the spherical area of the impression made by a steel ball forced into the surface of the material tested.
System
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) An arbitrarily defined area or volume surrounded by a boundary and possessing specific inputs, outputs, and reactions.
