แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A functional group which consists of a carbon with a carboxylic acid, "-COOH" and an amine, "-NH2." These compounds are the building blocks for proteins.
Synergism is the act of working together
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) Two chemicals which are synergistic have a greater effect together than the sum of their individual effects. The effect can be either positive or negative.
Aromatic
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A form of bonding in which ring compounds share electrons over more than two atoms. The electrons are delocalized. This leads to unusual ring stability.
Anoxic process
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A process which occurs only at very low levels of molecular oxygen or in the absence of molecular oxygen.
Work flow
แปลว่า(Software Engineering) the sequence of tasks that are required to accomplish some activity or action; often (but not always) used in conjunction with software process models
Ductility:
แปลว่า(english) Ductility generally refers to the amount of inelastic deformation which a material or structure experiences before complete failure. Quantitatively, ductility can be defined as the ratio of the total displacement or strain at failure, divided by the displacement or strain at the elastic limit.
Butt end
แปลว่า(english) The residual portion of an extrusion billet that is not forced through the die at the end of the extrusion cycle.
Source reduction
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) The elimination or reduction of the waste at the source by modification of the actual process which produces the waste.
Aluminous Cement
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) A hydraulic cement in which the principal constituents are calcium aluminates, instead of calcium silicates which comprise the major ingredients of portland cement. (See calcium aluminate cement)
Rebound
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) Wet shotcrete or sand and cement which bounces away from a surface again at which pneumatically applied mortar is being projected.
Siting
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) Obtaining government (federal, state, and local) permission to construct an environmental processing, treatment, or disposal facility at a given site.
