Screen (or Sieve)
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) A metallic sheet or plate, woven wire cloth, or similar device, with regularly spaced openings of uniform size, mounted in a suitable frame or holder for use in separating material according to size.
Builtup Plate
แปลว่า(english) "A pattern plate of suitable material, with the cope pattern mounted on or attached to one side; the drag pattern may be attached to the other side or to a separate mounting. See Matchplate "
Butcher Saw Steel
แปลว่า(english) A hardened, tempered, and polished high carbon spring steel strip material (carbon content is generally higher than that of a material used for wood band saw applications) with a Rockwell value of roughly C47/49.
Fixed connection:
แปลว่า(english) In two dimensions, a fixed connection between two members restrains all three degrees of freedom of the connected member with respect to one another. A fixed connection is sometimes called a rigid connection or moment-resisting connection.
Acid Process 1
แปลว่า(english) A process of making steel, either Bessemer, open-hearth or electric, in which the furnace is lined with a siliceous refractory and for which low phosphorus pig iron is required as this element is not removed.
ASR - Alkali-Silica Reactivity
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The reaction of aggregates, which contain some form of silica or carbonates with sodium oxides or potassium oxides in cement, particularly in warm, moist climates or environments, causing expansion, cracking or popouts in concrete.
Acid-Process
Slump Cone
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) A metal mold in the form of a truncated cone with a top diameter of 4”, a bottom diameter of 8”, and a height of 12”, used to fabricate the specimen for a slump test.
Dry Rodded Weight
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The weight of dry aggregate rodded into a cylindrical container of diameter approximately equal to the height, each of 3 layers rodded 25 times, and the excess aggregate struck off level with the top of the container
Inelastic:
แปลว่า(english) Not surprisingly, the opposite of elastic. A deformation of a structure or material under load is described as inelastic when the deformation remains after the load is removed. The term plastic is often used with the same meaning.
Electronegativity
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) The potential of an atom to attract electrons when the atom is bonded in a compound. The scale is 0 to 4 with 0 being the most electropositive (low attraction) and 4 being the most electronegative (high attraction).
Bright Dipping
แปลว่า(english) Chemical polishing of aluminum, often by treatment with a mixture of nitric acid and phosphoric acid, yielding a mirror-shiny (specular) highly reflective surface. It is almost always followed by anodizing to protect the surface and provide some choice of color.
