Pining
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) Development of relatively small cavities in a concrete surface, due to phenomena such as cavitation or corrosion.
Bleeding, Bleed Water
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) A form of segregation in which some of the water in a mix tends to rise to the surface of freshly placed concrete. Known also as water gain.
Temperature Rise
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The increase of concrete temperature caused by heat of hydration and heat from other sources.
Modularity
แปลว่า(Software Engineering) an attribute of a design that leads to the creation of high quality program components
Actual Weight
แปลว่า(english) The customer buys by the actual (scale) weight of the steel. The theoretical weight is used in estimating, however, it is not to be used for billing.
Design
แปลว่า(Software Engineering) an activity that translates the requirements model into a more detailed model that is the guide to implementation of the software
Section Modulus:
แปลว่า(english) A property of a cross sectional shape, which depends on shape, and orientation. Section modulus is usually denoted S, and S = I/c, where I = moment of inertia about an axis through the centroid, and c is the distance from the centroid to the extreme edge of the section.
Transmissibility:
แปลว่า(english) The principle stating that a force has the same external effect on an object regardless of where it acts along its line of action.
Unit Water Content
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The quantity of water per unit volume of freshly mixed concrete, often expressed as gallons or pounds per cubic yard. This is the quantity of water on which the water cement ratio is based, and does not include water absorbed by the aggregate
Bridle
แปลว่า(english) A set of rolls used to maintain tension on the strip as it goes through the line.
Ultimate disposal
แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) The process of returning residuals back to the environment in a form which will have the minimal or reduced negative environmental impacts.
Retempering
แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The addition of water and remixing of concrete which has started to stiffen: usually not allowed as it may affect the ultimate strength.
