บันไดลอยที่เปิดให้เห็นลูกนอนโปร่ง โดยไม่มีลูกตั้งหรือบังขั้น แต่มีเหล็กลูกนอน (เรียกว่า open tread strairs on string)
(Software Engineering) techniques for process improvement that are based on measurements of the product and the process
(english) The steel or concrete pedestal on which the coils are stacked during the batch annealing process.
(english) An idealized concept meaning something which does not deform under loading. In fact, all objects deform under loading, but in modelling it can be useful to idealize very stiff objects as rigid.
(english) A diamond penetrator, conical in shape, used with a Rockwell hardness tester for hard metals.
(Environmental Engineering) A virus particle. Viral DNA or RNA enclosed in an organic capsule. See virus.
(Software Engineering) the creation of data that can be used to uncover errors in the software
(english) A storage area in Strip Steel used for storing hot bands (coil made from slab).
(english) A very general term that may be applied to a material or a structure. In a material, strength refers to a level of stress at which there is a significant change in the state of the material, e.g., yielding or rupture. In a structure, strength refers to a level of level of loading which produces a significant change in the state of the structure, e.g., inelastic deformations, buckling, or collapse.
(english) 1) Coating defect consisting of the formation of bubbles in a coating, which appear as hemispherical elevations. The blisters are hollow, and are usually caused by entrapped air or solvent. 2) A raised spot on the surface on the surface of metal due to expansion of gas which causes a subsurface metal separation such as inclusions and small laminations.
(english) A set of rolls used to maintain tension on the strip as it goes through the line.
(english) A surface force or body force acting on an object. External forces are sometimes called applied forces.
